Augmented movement is an interactive installation showcasing the watch movements of the Swiss company Azurea. Through a macro camera and an advanced image recognition system, each movement, encapsulated in a transparent sphere, is magnified in real-time on a screen alongside detailed information, thus unveiling the full intricacy of Swiss watchmaking.

Designed to be presented to internal teams as well as at watch fairs, this installation consists of a screen and a wooden surface with an illuminated central slot. Visitors are invited to select from several transparent resin spheres, each containing a distinct watch movement, and place the chosen sphere into the central slot beneath which a high-definition macro camera is positioned.

The movements, initially very small, appear significantly enlarged on the screen, revealing every detail with precision. Thanks to an advanced automatic recognition system, the interface immediately identifies the displayed movement and simultaneously presents the corresponding information.

On the right side of the screen, an exploded view of the movement and other components it interacts with is displayed, encouraging visitors to handle the other nearby spheres. The touchscreen interface allows users to open or close the exploded view, enhancing their overall understanding of the mechanism.
